Shallow is a new alternative print magazine made by artists for artists. Each page turned feels like stepping into a different publication and includes anything from gossip columns, essays, short stories, photography, art, quizzes and interviews – everything including the kitchen sink.
This project is the brainchild of Palencar and Nora Straw (Pal and Nor) – two London-based flatmates who found friendship through their exes. What resulted was a series of artistic and community-oriented collaborations including exhibitions, events, and Shallow Magazine. (Yes we are both single).
